Good eye, as usual. repechage. I brought the cork from a bottle of Bianchi wine as an homage to my first Eroica bike, a 1961 Bianchi Competizione that was significantly too small for me. (I snagged the cork from the first year's Eroica CA dinner). I brought the fork end for giggles and to celebrate the fact that the fork gave me fair warning that it was about to kill me.

As Sheldon Cooper once said, what's life without whimsy?
