Fortunately for most of us the industry appears to sell what we want. It’s also probably their most profitable approach. If there was a big enough demand for 3x11 drivetrains I’m sure the industry would oblige. I know there are people out there who still think 3x8 is better than 2x12, but fortunately not enough of them to influence the industry.
