Bikes: Foundry Chilkoot Ti W/Ultegra Di2, Salsa Timberjack Ti, Cinelli Mash Work RandoCross Fun Time Machine, 1x9 XT Parts Hybrid, Co-Motion Cascadia, Specialized Langster, Phil Wood Apple VeloXS Frame (w/DA 7400), R+M Supercharger2 Rohloff, Habanero Ti 26

Because that was a crank they could get at the price they were looking at so they could sell that bike for the price they wanted. It really doesn't matter and if it does then build your own bike and spec the parts you want on it. More expensive for sure but you get what you want. The is a reason most of my bikes have been built from the frame up because I don't care for most standard builds.

FSA makes fine cranks and in the end it is not a big deal for me if everything else is to my liking and the price is right.
