With Heavy Patina, I have received complements from a driver as he on-ramped from 15th street to 395 next to the Jefferson Memorial. I thought he was going to get into an accident with the Window down and leaning over to yell out the window as he drove into merging traffic.
What it looked like then.

Then the other one is the De Rosa. Riding downtown Fredericskburg a guy in a pickup pulled up next to me and started a conversation while I was riding. He was blown away to see a great bike back from the day. Little did he see the upgrades.

Then there was the compliment from a couple while riding on the MUP on Mason Neck. I was surprised because I thought his bike looked like a bit of a beater.

Funny, I don't recall any comments on the Colnago. Maybe if I would ride it more.....

The most recent one built up has not been exposed to the populace I would expect comments because I think this is a beauty.
