So what is top notch? Like 50mph plus just coasting in the drops?

I have a route near my house that I do several times a week. It has at least one downhill section that is about a 12% grade. I can hit 38mph without trying. It is one of those small windy roads (too small for yellow lines). I am not fully comfortable on it yet to go completely flat out. I am sure I could top 45mph if i never touched the brakes. Just a little scary for me since you cant see oncoming traffic easily and without yellow lines people tend to just drive down the middle of the road.
