As a now reread this thread, I'd be tempted to call you a drama queen. Probably a bit short of that, but as you noted, they did treat you with a decent level of courtesy and respect. And no, they didn't create any danger for anyone else, since they were clearly (proven by what happened) wiling to adjust and correct as the situation changed.

You're simply imposing your judgement onto others, without seeing the big picture. OTOH- maybe I feel the way I do because I live and ride in and around a major city on the east coast so am very used to sharing the limited that narrow older roads afforded.
