The frame number is clearly Y4C54160.

As T-Mar has stated, the frame serial number is a frame manufactured in 1994. Not a mystery and not before 1994.

This is after 1992 when Cycleurope is formed and the Peugeot Cycles brand is licensed to them.

The barcode label: The 9th and 10th characters are "FR" indicating the French market.

As shown earlier, this model appears in the French 1994 Peugeot Cycles catalogue.
