WTT Suntour Superbe crankset for Sugino Mighty Tour
I have a Superbe crankset in very good rider condition that I doubt I will ride again with its 144 bcd chainrings. It is quite nice so, I thought perhaps of trading for the also hard to find Mighty Tour. The Superbe is 170mm length, and came on my 1983 Trek 700. I have various chainrings and the original very nice bb that could also be worked into a deal. Unfortunately only one dust cap came with it. I love the looks of the fluted crank arms, hence the desire for the Mighty Tour.
This came with a 113mm bottom bracket spindle. I have read of confusion on wether these were ISO or JIS. Pictured is a Shimano JIS spindle for comparison. I did ride it on an Italian Shimano bb for perhaps a hundred miles. It mounted with perhaps 2-3mm less interface on that spindle. All threads are nice and the cups and spindle are perfect.
