Our deck rotted through a couple years ago so we got a new one made from composite. It looks great. Of course it's $$$$$.
Luckily just a couple of small cuts. Depending on the extent, I may have to replace some of the deck joists. At least one is rotten.
if I can’t salvage the deck, I’ll probably have our pool builder pour a patio when they put our pool in next spring or build one out of pavers myself
