I stopped into a Cracker Barrel near T-Town over 20 years ago before the fall swap meet and ride to Hawk Mountain. It was so crowded that we left. But I can still remember the smell of the holiday-related items in the gift shop.
In the Anaconda, MT area I have twice ridden a road called Crackerville. I still smile when I think of it.
Dad had invested some money in Cracker Barrel years ago, at a time when they were working with Dad's company to source stuff like applesauce. He didn't invest a ton of money, but it was a significant chunk of what we 6 kids received when he passed. I have also eaten at Cracker Barrel restaurants a handful of times. The food is decidedly "What Americans Think Americans Eat", and I suppose they're probably right.
