Bikes: 1990 Schwinn Curcit is my main bike

In August of 2021 I covered Denver to Cheyenne.
I camped in the Boyd Lake State Park, between Loveland and Fort Collins.
The camp ground was a bit "Developed" for my taste but the best I could do in that semi-urban area.

Good luck with your trip. It sounds like fun.
