Those fruit have enezymes that digest protein. Cooking kills them. I have a theory that they digest enough leucine to trigger accelerated protein synthesis.
You don't eat the skin on a Kiwi.. Just spoon the flesh out.
Having said that, I love pineapple on pizza.
