My younger son was with me in the car yesterday when an Eagles song came on. I start singing along with it: "Well, I'm a runnin' down the road trying to losen my load; I've got seven women on my mind..." In any event, he says, "How do you know all of the words to that song?" Not an unreasonable question given I forget more things that you can shake a stick at. (BTW, you can shake a stick at an a whole lot of stuff!) Then it struck me that this is the song his uncle and I used to sing when we were riding together. I'll bet that song got sung (badly, I might add) thousands of times by the two of us. So, am I the only one who has a "riding" song or are there others of you out there? What do you sing as the miles go by?
