Went outside today. I continue to have gobs of power when I keep expecting it to drop out, due to riding ~6-7 hrs a week (vs twice that much). Hit a few segments at the upper end of repeatable interval pace without undue RPE:
3:45 at 352w (5.4)
9:45 at 303w (4.7)
3:00 at 350w (5.4) <-- ok so this one was pretty mid
Weight is down a few lbs too so they are objectively better performances.
I can't explain it, maybe I'm just enjoying a temporary period of reduced fatigue? Or maybe it's the oft-anticipated arrival of #dadwatts? I'm sure the depth isn't there, but maybe I could still attack the hell out of a criterium on this low volume.
