He lives in the mountains surrounding the Yaak River Valley in Montana, which is way up in the NW corner of the state and surrounded by Forest Service land. He peacefully coexists with black and grizzly bears, elk, deer and mountain lions.

The locals have an annual Sasquatch Festival. The first time I rode up there, someone had takes a notice to a pole. It was written on counterfeit Forest Service paper and explained how he doesn’t mess with people, so you shouldn’t be afraid.

I almost bought a second home up there earlier this year.
