I learned years ago that all medicos exaggerate, perhaps part of their service to make their patients feel better about themselves.

For your Doctor to be correct, he/she/them/they/it must have a practice to includes 1 million patients. Of course, the claim may be based on the average data of the hospital, the city… who knows. 😉
