There's a Ural/Royal Enfield/CF Moto/SSR/Zero dealer 30 minutes from me. I'm on a first name basis with the staff.
Back in the 1980's I weekly commuted from Yorkshire to London (186 miles each way) every week for 10 years on various BMW's at constant high speeds.
I can honestly say I felt no benefit at all using such Elephant Bags.
Very quickly adopted heated grips, heated gloves and heated jacket. The cylinders heated my feet!
The biggest problem was visibility.
Looking back, I must have been mad.
