Yes, I think if I were to get one of these it would have to be a 1st Gen with the True Temper tubing. Not oversized, and superior material to 6061. The 1200 referenced above may have been a 2nd Gen aluminum frame and from the reading I recall seemed to be a step backwards for ride quality compared to a 1st Gen alu. Trek.
