Yeah I've read a lot of hate for the Brain. That's the good thing about this one, no Brain action, but 27 lbs isn't enough weight savings over the Ellsworth. I could probably ditch the Psylo on the Ellsworth for a low miles straight-steerer SID and get down to 27. I'm looking for 22-25 lbs.
I wish my bike was 27 pounds. Don't know that I've ever had a mountain bike that light, including hard tails.
I would like to have a super light XC bike for some of the smoother rides but I don't want to give up the enduro type bike for the rough stuff.
