Bikes: 1981 Univega Super Special, '80s Custom Chris Pauley, 1972 Fuji 'The Finest'

Well, here we are, I think this is where the bike will stay for a good bit, except maybe swapping back to my other saddle. Not the best backdrop nor camera, but these will have to do until this weekend when I'll grab my mirrorless camera for a little photoshoot.

The wheelbuild was done by Chris Robinson here in Oakland. Dura ace 7400 hubs, Dt swiss r460 rims, double butted Sapim race spokes. Fabulously knowledgable guy. Took great care with the build, and even adjusted my hubs for me as part of the service! Combined with the Vittoria Corsa Controls, the bike is solid, smooth, confidence inspiring, can leap tall buildings in a single bound, etc. Really pleased overall

Yes, the stem is somewhat comically tall, but unfortunately just par the course when you've got the legs of a 6'1" man and the torso/arms of someone 5'9". Planning on putting a bell on there to make it seem less so.

The only real work left to do is get my body in shape after a long winter of injuries and rain! Flexibility, core strengthening, neck range of motion especially.
