I think I get it-

Like you used to think you'd have to grab your sleeve to maintain tension to pull the zippers on your armpit ventilation zippers...

But you've figured out that you don't have to.

My Columbia jackets that have pit zippers have 2 pulls. I put them in the center so I can pull "down" to open half the armpit super easily.
