I took Monday and Friday off. 3 Weeks on, one week recovery. Through the week it depends. This time of year, I was on the trainer. A dumb trainer, in a cold garage, with nothing but gruel to look forward to as a recovery meal. The weekend, I would ride to where I planned on doing the workout in Z1, or very low Z2.
Summertime, I would drive to the spot through the week and get my stuff done after work, and weekends I would ride to it, if not racing.
Gotcha. Well it’s cool to see I am still doing it wrong. Maybe by the time I am in my 40s I will figure it out.
