My first night in Seoul, I stayed at the TMark Hotel in Myeongdong and they were very accommodating. I left some luggage there while I rode to Busan and back and the hotel didn’t charge me. I did have a room booked for my return trip however.
Generally speaking, Korean hotels are accommodating with Western tourists.
