OK so that was more like a light rain... turned around right away and contemplated driving, but instead grabbed my Columbia OutDry mountaineering jacket. I am happy with my choice. My wife got me these fancy British moleskin pants for christmas that are quite robust with respect to weather and wear/tear - those came in handy too. I think I'll continue walking unless it's raining like real hard.
