You can use Reship.com to buy stuff from UK vendors who won't ship to the USA. Reship gives you a UK address to plug into those websites. Yes, you pay a fee for the Reship service plus paying shipping costs from both the vendor and Reship... but depending on either the rarity of the item or the discount of the deal, you can still end up saving money. I recently got a new carbon 650B wheelset from a Wiggle sale for $200 recently and then paid another $200 in shipping & fees - still came out 50-60% less than what USA vendors charge for the same item.
