Weight is back in check, so now I'm going to fuel more and chase more watts. I'm doing my intervals with a 305 ftp in Zwift for workouts. Success at 3x9 un/ov. Next is 3x12. I also "owe" myself some VO2 work soon. Been a bit. Some reason I just hate VO2 work. And the new math on VO2 sets using 305w and 120% scares me a little bit. 2x 3x3min at 365w doesn't sound very fun.
don't use percentage for VO2 work, or erg for that matter, just go max each time, power likely will fall a bit across efforts, the key is to keep HR up and cadence high. these are a little lower than I last did some work in Sept but my 3min power is generally 115% of my ftp, 4min is around 112% and 5min 111% based on my performance lately. percentage+erg=disaster
