On my Kickr Snap, the gradient emulation craps out at around 10%, because of my weight - the poor thing can only exert so much resistance. Once the gradient goes above 10%, it still feels the same but I go slower. AND in the Canyon's smallest gear, I can only do about 250-270w, so if I want to do more power I have to shift a cog or two smaller. This means when I do the Radio Tower, I go about 3 mph, which is basically "falling over" speed.
