Was given this old lugged rootbeer-brown Bianchi. I switched the 27x1/8 wheels to cheap bolt-on 700C rims, put some 38mm Vittoria Terreno Dry cross tires (monster meat), changed the bars from steel to home-flared alloy SR Road Champions, DiaComp levers from the parts box, new seatpost & parts box WTB saddle. Kept the beautiful Sun Race dt shifters and the drivetrain it came with (except new chain): riveted Sakae XCT PowerRing 48-38-28 front, and a 6-speed 13-32 freewheel I found for the rear.
RootBeer Brown sounds like a mid '80s "Dark Maroon" Limited but some of the companents already sound swapped out.
