You haven't encountered enamel kitchenware before? It's just common enamel cup with a nice design. The type of cup has been around for centuries, although I suppose it's increasingly possible to not run into them. Pros--not breakable (as easily, compared to ceramic). Cons--doesn't insulate.
It's kind of ironic that they command high life style prices now. I've encountered them mostly in this form (and the set costs $55!) on camping trips:
