The D521 was one of their downhill strongest vbrake rim, another last mountain MTB project, a Gary Fisher Hookoo Ekoo will get the D521 with hope hubs.
I'm not familiar with those rims but Hope hubs are among the best. I have the Mono Pro III on the front of my fastest road bike. I'd like to try down-hill some time.
