When I flipped my bro-in-law's threadless stem a week or so ago, not having a torque wrench suitable for bike torque ranges, I used a 10-inch long socket wrench with a suspended 8lb dumbbell to torque the bolts (5/6 * 8 yields about 6 ft lbs of torque). Still, I thought maybe the proper tool was in order. This arrived from the big river outlet yesterday. Told my BIL to bring his bike back and i'd cinch his bolts up proper...
