Hey DesmoDog, very cool that you have two of them -- they look like '88s with the chainstay mount rear brakes. I swear the blue paint on the '88s is a little darker than the '89s.

I actually have two '89s -- this one I just bought, and I still have the frame and some parts for the '89 I bought new. It got ridden in anger off-road a lot when I was still a young buck so it's pretty beat up, but I do have a notion to restore it at some point. I've already acquired a decal set for it (found one this month from a British seller on ebay after thinking no one made them in this style), and would probably have it professionally painted by one of the respected frame painters out there, but for now, I'll just play with the complete original I just picked up.
