FWIW: the most famous reported such incident - that of MLB Hall of Famer John Smoltz supposedly burning himself while ironing a shirt he was wearing at the time -
is vehemently disputed by Smoltz.
The fact that the warning being real is plausible is IMO both funny and sad at the same time. And some of
the labels in this article lead me to believe that, well, yeah: it's entirely plausible. Check out the "Rowenta Irons" warning!
