I also considered cutting an old spent hub, and adding a freewheel, maybe making it also a desktop fidget device(lol), using short spokes on a made shade, but I do like bankers lamps... and some other ideas of frame tubing for the upright (only from an irreparable frame). It's still being played in my head, and I thank you for your ideas.
