Hi,

I'm removing an old BB on a mid-seventies Panasonic road bike. It seems that this model doesn't have spanner holes on either side (neither pin spanner nor spanner wrench)

There were cottered cranks on this BB, and it's all stock, so I'm assuming it's a really old BB. Is it possible that it just needs to be hammered out?
