it looks like a hard pass from me. That is not the District Carbon which was a carbon frame belt driven bike which was kind of a cool bike and is desirable. Ultralight it is not probably not super heavy but nothing really light aside from the belt.

Schindelhauer Bikes makes alll belt driven stuff including some single speeds which by all accounts are quite nice. Priority sells some belt drive single speeds. Both of those options would be way better than a damaged and abused Trek for a ridiculous amount of money (they want new prices for a hunk of piece).

The nicest thing on the Trek is the Belt and that is the cheaper CDN belt not the CDX belt and it has a crappy plastic belt ring which are not good for much of anything.
