As for the request for bike + eclipse pics, a pinhole bike for a pinhole-like partial eclipse here, but at least we had clear skies. The different time of year and angle of the sun meant I had to take cardboard out into the yard to duplicate the crescents I captured in Aug of '17

I was able to spend the eclipse with our Seattle daughter after picking her up at RDU earlier in the day. She's here for a few days before heading to DC to meet up with younger sister Liz for a vacation trip.

. You can grow pineapple plants from store-bought pineapples by rooting the tops instead of throwing them away but it's harder to do over the winter.
