I remember someone noting in the forums that Serrotas were pretty much bikes owned mostly by rich dentists or doctors.
Don't know why some might think such, but they are high quality bikes from what I had seen.
I remember thinking back in the 80's that Kestrel and Klein bikes were rich folks bikes that almost nobody can afford as I did notice outs8de of teams racing such bikes, those bikes were owned mostly by the very well to do, back then. But that was mostly the impression those bikes left with a poor college student that was just happy to even be able to buy a Peugeot.
