That's their charm! Definitely separates the men from the boys when you start mixing it up with traffic on a genuine fixie.
I will admit: You probably don't wanna bring the track bike on a
group ride. Not that the experienced fixie rider can't deal with it; it's that most other (geared) roadies can't deal with a fixie in their midst. Throws off their "rhythm" (...and I'm being charitible with that word)
