Rode my go to ride earlier this afternoon: 28 miles with 1,100 feet climbing. New GP5K do not make up for almost 2 weeks off the bike.
direct lighting and yes made brighter. I put about 120 miles on the wheels over the weekend. They whoosh whoosh nice and spin up to speed fast in downhill and rolly sections. Top speed of 45mph so far, one coming down Torrey Pines yesterday. Def faster then the low tech zipp 303 clinchers I had on. zero flats so no black cats memes needed for me. While I didn't do the BWR this yr because waaay out of shape to suffer that much. We did a 62 mile ride, looping the to the finish line and see the top finishers. After 2 hours in the sun watching, we jumped back on the bikes and rode another 30 miles back to Torrey Pines. Wind head all the way to the 5...blaaa...but got to see some friends, drank a pint and enjoyed the vibe of the finish line.
