I have 4 bikes that qualify and when I am on them, I rarely want to be on anything else.

My 1979 Peter Mooney; now a classic fix gear roadster. A truly elegant ride in my favorite format.
My first Ti Cycles. Basically a high end Japanese sport bike of ti tubing. An all day bike that loves to climb anything.
My fix gear Ti Cycles. A 1980s race bike only fix gear and again, ti. Fun, fun, fun!
My new-to-me Pro Miyata. Steel race and under this body, as good as it gets.

I've never ridden farther than around 135 miles. But all of those first three bikes have done nearly that distance. And been good rides right up to the end. (Sorry, PM. I didn't get you until I turned 70 and that window passed.)

They all have high end tubulars.
