It looks great. Keep shredding!
Yep, that's the one! The powder was getting really ratty since surface rust was forming underneath. Looking back at old pictures and looking at it now I didn't realize how rough it had gotten!
I've put about 100 miles on it since the rebuild and couldn't be more pleased. Want to do some cockpit adjustments since I've quickly fallen out of favor with compact drops so I'm cleaning up an old set of deep vintage drops that I'll put on in the next few days. Also this thing desperately deserves some tanwall tires, and when I end up deciding what to go with I'll get something in the 23-25mm range so I can use a bit more of the track end. Those 28mm Michelins inflate up to around 30mm!
As always with a new build with vintage parts (especially the crank) I've slowly been doing more and more dynamic rides as I get more confident in the overall build. I'm a lot more comfortable doing some more climbing now, although I haven't ridden a ratio this tall in a minute so I've gotten surprised at how steep some hills feel
