Have you had any issues with softening and swelling of the drive side end cap? That is really the only negative side effect I have experienced with ATF although that was with the screw on type cap used on the Alfine hubs.
The drive side cap doesn't seem to be affected at all. Only downside I've found is, as the hub isn't really designed for oil use, some ATF (very little actually) seeps out from the drive side. If you don't clean it (5 minutes with a rag every month or so), it could eventually go down the spokes to the rim brake surface.
