You know that you have been around for a while when...

...Your old sins show up at VeloBase.

I bought the saddle used in the late 80ies and I modified it - I guess in the 90ies. I cut the sides and as you can see the left over skirts comes in at an angle instead of straight (this bugged me at the time). The bolts are Campagnolo and washers are generic. On the other side there is a reinforcement metal strip and nuts. What model Idéale it was from the beginning I do not know as the side stampings were worn out. It did have a very, very narrow rear. I only hope I sold it as a self modified saddle and that I did not pretend it was original. I believe so. On the other side - it is obvious if looking at the parts used.

Have you experienced finding something you have made/modified - on the net or IRL many years later?
