Bikes: several Eddy Merz (ride like Eddy, braze like Jim!)

here’s my assessment on the toll bikes. I think the economy wasn’t very great in the early 80s and that is why it made sense for Bikes to be built there than shipped to the US.

of the 5 3Renshos I’ve seen, 2 are domestic and 5 are exports that were brought back from the USA. the model on the ones for USAA export on the chain. Plus, the serial number has an. “A” followed by a serial number.

since the yellow jersey shop in Wisconsin was the one that sent the fat check and ordered an assortment of sizes, USA got the big ones.

America’s average bike size is 56. I would say the average size in Japan is 50.

I put a “for sale” sign on my bike. Everyone “ooohs andahhhs,” but they all say “too big”
