The brake track on a 700 wheel is 4mm lower than a 27” so you will have to adjust the brake pads accordingly. The OE caliper, if you have them, may or may not have enough range to accommodate that; YMMV.
Thanks a lot for information. I have only front brake, but Im gonna replace them anyway, also I think replacing wheel set and drivetrain. If anyone can recommend nowadays groupset for this bike, would be great.I allready know I have to cold fit rear axel to 150mm,atm original measurments are front axel 95.8mm and rear 122.6mm.Front hub is 94.3 and rear 120.7mm.Im thinking to upgrade Shimano claris 2x8,since its cheap secondhand and this is my first bike build. Also im not sure about what kind of rim brakes I should go,but anyways I have to start with wheel set as first thing, then I can do measurments for brakes.
