I have about 100 rolls of Tressostar tape I purchased in bulk from an outlet that primary deals in old Schwinns, I love it. Some rolls have adhesive sticking to the top surface and some do not however I have found this a non issue when using Shellac.
I like this style of using the twine wrap and
Shellac to finish a nice new bar taping.
Good cloth tape, l prefer Newbaum's, is the best era look but I must admit leather is my fav.
