I've been on 165mm crank arms for awhile, now, and love them. Initially was searching for 160mm, but didn't find them at the time (during the Covid pandemic mess in 2020). My inseam is nearer to 28", shorter than yours. In my case, I've got old injuries such that a shorter crank circle is easier to operate, so I've no idea if similarly-short leg length on others will typically feel as good to them as it does for me. If I find myself on another bike or need to change cranks, I might well go to 160mm.
