Funny this thread popped up. Just this morning I cut an old inner tube (using regular cheap office scissors) and glued it on (used E 6000 and silver Gorilla Tape) to a heel on one of my wife's work boots. They are only worn over to a barn where we keep a horse (big pet) that we spoil. The boots don't go thru any really rough use, but the heel was worn out. THey were decent muck boots and good ones aren't cheap, so seeing if we can squeeze a little more use from them.
