the big concern with eggbeaters is that the brass cleats wear quickly if you walk in your bike shoes. if you keep a close eye on them, it isn't a problem...but if you're the type to forget that kind of thing, you may end up paying for it in unexpected pullouts.

otherwise, they're pretty great.
